Wootton Rangers Youth FC has proudly become a member of the FA's Nationwide Wildcats scheme. Wildcats football centres offer girls aged 5-11 a chance to try football for the first time and provide regular opportunities to play.
Melissa Murray is our Wildcats Coach - Melissa has played football herself to a high standard and recently moved to Wootton.
"One of the first things I did when moving to Wootton was look to get involved in coaching and Grassroots football, and luckily Wootton Rangers were already applying to the FA to become an official Wildcats centre.
"I feel it's so important to get more girls involved in football at a young age and I'm really happy to be coaching this group, its a perfect way to start out in football while having loads of fun at the same time"
"Our Wildcats sessions are fun from start to finish, a mix of games and drills to get the girls active, improving their coordination and confidence with the ball. Importantly, every session is different to keep the girls interested - but above all, they are just good fun and a great place to make friends!"
